In XXXX of 2022, I was a finalist for a CEO position and I signed a disclosure and authorization for XXXX XXXX to do a consumer report. I am formally complaining that this credit report is being reported by Equifax and a Hard Inquiry which has credit score implications. On no other reporting agency is this investigation being reported as a hard inquiry as I was not seeking credit. I have called XXXX XXXX and requested they fix this error and have not received a call back from them. After not receiving a message from XXXX XXXX I filed a dispute with Equifax and it was denied. I am requesting that this inquiry be removed from from Hard Inquiry which would remain on my report for another 13 months and continue to have a negative impact on my credit score as if I were attempting to over purchase.
