My deceased wife and I tried to apply for a refinance back in 2017 that was at a then XXXX XXXX interest rate as we were 7 months behind on the mortgage. The mortgage itself was given to HER ONLY on the basis of her XXXX check as a form of repayment. Wells Fargo came to the house, we filed the proper paperwork and was still denied and stayed at XXXX XXXX interest for a 40 year loan after 11 years of paying interest. The 7 months was added to the mortgage and had to start over. We solicited wells Fargo again, with no relief before she passed away leaving me to solely repay this now 40 year loan. I'm XXXX and will NEVER be able to repay this. This in in behalf of her and I, unfortunately she is no longer here to be at my side to see what becomes of it. ANY HELP would be very much appreciated..This loan was issued to my wife and I assumed it after we married. It remains in her name post death as they instructed me to do so.
