Consumer Narrative
I have a standby cash account with XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX the bank reported to Credit bureaus about 30 day late payment when I was already paying a minimum amount on the account. This happened right when I applied for a loan. Either the bank or the credit Barreau is rushing to report this whenever I apply for finances and then remove it once I file a dispute. recently I spoke to the bank inquiring how the payments can affect my credit and they said they won't report it until its 30 days late so I have enough time to pay off and then yesterday when I tried to make a payment I saw a pop-up saying that I can make those payments in installments so I called the bank to get clarification on how it will affect my credit and they clearly mentioned that it wont be reflecting in my credit as its a hardship program they are offering but I saw that they reported it as late on the XXXX of XXXX right when I was shopping for a loan. It seems like the bank is doing a deceptive practice to ruin my finances. I have a history with them for various issues in the past. They also denied that the bank will offer a Foreign exchange in XX/XX/2022 when I I did exchange through them just in XX/XX/2022 and then I have to argue to let them exchange money and they spent exacly 1 hour to do it. They tried to send me to another agency which is located far away from my home. They also said I have to visit the bank 5 times in order to exchange XXXX ( which they said is a limit for one transaction ) but end up doing it in one transaction.
