I started receiving checks from Wells Fargo a couple of years ago the were addressed to my ex wife and I because of money the courts said they had to pay us back in the class action lawsuit. I called the number and asked them to split which they did. They mailed a check in half the amount to my ex wife and the other half to me. I had to call every time I received a check because it was made out to us both. I then received a check over {$1000.00}. When I called they said because of the dollar amount they couldnt split. I asked what could be done and they said wait a few years and it would go into unclaimed property. I do not deal with my ex wife for reasons I wont go into. Is there a way to get my half of money owed to me?
