My complaint is with TD bank and misleading advertising regarding opening a savings account of a minimum {$10000.00} deposit leaving a balance of {$10000.00} for at least 90 days, after which I would be entitled to the {$200.00} bonus. I opened the account on XX/XX/2022 at the TD bank located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Connecticut. In XXXX, I called TD Bank and asked why I did not see the {$200.00} bonus in my account. I was told that it could take up to 180 days for the bonus to be posted to my account. I asked why it should take so long and XXXX XXXX XXXX said that TD wanted to be sure people didnt open the XXXX Account XXXX and close the account after 90 days. I told them this was misleading advertising and TD Bank should state money should be left for 180 days, not 90 days in order to receive this {$200.00} promotion.
