Midland Credit Management sent me a first letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive until today XX/XX/XXXX. This credit card debt is for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that was XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX this debt was sold to Midland Credit Management ( " MCM '' ). I filed for XXXX Bankruptcy on XX/XX/XXXX. I no longer owe this debt. I asked my Bankruptcy Law Firm today, XX/XX/XXXX to send a " Cease and Desist '' Letter to Midland Credit Management , Inc . The amount of the debt is {$1900.00}, that I no longer owe due to filing this Credit Card in the bankruptcy. This Debt Collection should not even exist and they need to " Cease & Desist '' the debt collection attempt for a debt I no loner owe due to XXXX Bankruptcy that was filed on XX/XX/XXXX, and the XXXX XXXX # XXXX was included in the filing. Any further collection is tied to that filing. This debt collection needs to stop.
