Fraud Victim Assistance Department Dear Sir or Madam : This letter is a formal complaint that you are reporting inaccurate credit information. I am very distressed that you have included inaccurate information in my credit profile. Due to its damaging effects on my good credit standing I have been wrongfully denied credit. Credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only accurate credit information. This inaccurate information is a mistake on either you or the reporting creditor 's part. With the proof and proper documents that I'm attaching to this letter, please remove all negative items from my credit report. I am a victim of identity theft and I write to dispute certain information in my file resulting from the crime. I have also received letters from Equifax and XXXX detailing my information was found in their data breach. I have received notifications from XXXX and XXXX that my data has been found on the Dark Web, along with my mailing address being found on USPS mail forwarding system. I was not receiving mail for some and received confirmation from the USPS that my mail was set up for mail forwarding. I immediately contacted USPS and notified them I never consented to my mail to be forwarded to another address. I did not authorize any of the following above. Items I am disputing do not relate to any transactions that I have made or authorized. I have also attached a copy of the notification from XXXX of my email being compromised. Theres a name listed on the notification as well. Please remove this information at the earliest possible time please.
