Consumer Narrative
I regards to my previous complaint # XXXX. I am in receipt of a written correspondence from Equifax stating they were unable to locate a consumer profile in their database. Equifax then continued to demand private information from me to allegedly verify my identity. This is quite a contradicting demand and response. According to Equifax they have no consumer profile in their database for me so how is it Equifax demanding information to verify something they claim to not posses? How will Equifax verify this? If I provide my private information what database will Equifax match it against to verify my identity? Furthormore, Equifax have ignored my demands I have made in my previous complaint # XXXX. As a private XXXX XXXX I am entitled to reserve all my rights pursuant to the 1974 Privacy Act. ( The Privacy Act is a federal law in the United States that regulates the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of personal information by government agencies. It was passed in 1974 and applies to all executive branch agencies of the federal government. The Privacy Act places restrictions on the collection, use, and dissemination of personal information, including the requirement that individuals be notified of the information collected about them and given the opportunity to correct any errors. It also gives individuals the right to access their personal information held by the government and to seek redress if their information is mishandled ). Now that I have made that clear that I have not given any consent for Equifax to infringe, furnish or sell my private information I must highlight the fact that Equifax is has received Multiple documentation proving my identity. I have attached substantial evidence that Equifax has received these documentations and also My proof that my information has been in Equifax 's Data Breach. All this is UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MY PRIVATE INFORMATION BY EQUIFAX. THIS IS MY LAST ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER IN GOOD FAITH. IF EQUIFAX DOES NOT RESOLVE THIS MATTER AT ONCE I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DO A FIOA, AND GET THE IRS, DOJ, FBI, SSA, SEC, XXXX, INVOLVED.
