I've recently noticed a alleged debt that fell into derogatory collection account by a company under the name Professional Placement Services on my credit report. I was not notified where the original debt came from, I've received no information on how to dispute such alleged debt/account nor was I the consumer, notified they reported an alleged debt/account to my credit report ( without my authorization ). The alleged debt has several inaccuracies, so how do I even know the debt is real? The inaccuracies are as follows : XXXX stated the date the date of last activity was XX/XX/XXXX, where as. XXXX states the date of last activity as XX/XX/XXXX. Furthermore ; XXXX is reporting this as an Open Account & XXXX is showing it as closed. XXXX has removed this alleged debt from my account due to it not being able to be validated. I also never received a method of validation letter. So how do I even know if the alleged INACCURATE debt even belongs to me or is truly my debt? I sent a debt validation request letter to Professional Placement Services via mail on XX/XX/XXXX. Tracking shows that the letter was received by Professional Placement Services on XX/XX/XXXX. It has been more than 30 days and I have not received any type of debt validation letter.
