The former mortgage company Amerisave was going to do an assumption process to take my dad out from the loan and for my husband, one of the mortgage holders to assume the loan alone, the company asked for an assumption processing fee I went ahead and sent it then they decided to transfer our loan to another bank XXXX and after the transfer Amerisave cashed my check, now I have been emailing the assumption special loan department from Amerisave and calling and speaking with them and the only response is, " we do apologize for the inconvenience but this issue was given to a supervisor for approval to refund the monies '' I have been back and forth with them since XX/XX/2022, and I explained why did you guys cashed my check if you guys no longer had the account? I have been asking how much more time I have to wait to get my refund back? And they keep saying, I have to wait, is pending for approval ... I explained this issue to the new bank XXXX and they mentioned that Amerisave has the tendency to hold the monies and the clients have to fight for their refund. Now the new bank is in the process of doing an assumption but I need my monies ( refund ) from Amerisave. Please can you help us? I sent Amerisave a letter asking again for a resolution or I will escalate this matter. thank you
