I have tried to fix an issue with Wells Fargo about a stolen check. They have denied my claim and do not refund me my money when it was cashed by an on authorized person Wells Fargo did not protect my account, allowing this check to be forged and to be cash by a on authorized, Wells Fargo user itself. There is a specific line that says to notify within XXXX months after they have made the account statement available if I identify any on authorized or altered endorsement. My check was for my rent for the month of XX/XX/2022. I was not aware it was altered until my landlord requested a second payment because the first one was not received. I check my account and saw that the check was cashed, and I did not question the cash of the check because I knew that money would come out. I am asking for this to be fully investigated, and who cashed my check, and to get a refund on my money there is no way that I should be denied my own money back when it was on authorized to leave my account from the person who cashed it, I will attach the note that was sent to me and I will attach a picture of the forge check please investigate further into this matter. I can not trust a bank who does not protect my money and Im sure a lot of people who bank with Wells Fargo could agree that they should not happen. There is a six month. From when I realized any altered endorsement on my statement, and I notify them before the six months.
