Consumer Narrative
Mother passed away XXXX, my father informed us that he sold the home when in fact he rented the house out and the mortgage was being paid directly to the mortgage company until the person renting the home passed away unbeknownst to my father, Father relocated and didn't receive any of the mailing regarding the home. We were unaware the home was going into foreclosure until late XXXX, when it was discovered, the home was not sold, and the tenant expired XXXX. My father can not afford the mortgage as he is living on SSI. We are doing everything possible to pull the home from foreclosure and Sheriff sale to get it sold.
