I am writing to file a complaint against Experian for reporting a charge off from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( reference number : XXXX ) on my credit report. This item is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), as I have a right to dispute any inaccuracies on my credit report and have the issue promptly investigated. I have made numerous attempts to resolve this issue with Experian but have not received any response. I have provided Experian with the necessary documentation and information to support my dispute, yet I have not received any resolution or communication from the company. I have NEVER received any response or verification proof for this account mailed out to my address for this unverifiable item being reported on my consumer report. According to the FCRA, credit reporting agencies are required to conduct a reasonable investigation when a dispute is filed, and to delete or correct any information that is found to be inaccurate or can not be verified. Experian has failed to meet these requirements, and I request that the CFPB investigates this matter and takes appropriate action to ensure that my rights under the FCRA are protected.
