My husband bought a truck from XXXX XXXX XXXX while I was at work. He got it a few months before he passed in XXXX of 2020. It wasn't even tagged yet due to covid shutting down the tag offices in our areas. I didn't know till after he had passed and I voluntarily surrendered the vehicle and it ended up tanking my credit XXXX points that my name had been forged and it was on my husband 's truck. I sent them an email saying we loved it but I couldn't afford it. They then tried to get my insurance for XXXX worth of hail damage that was already on the vehicle. That got denied then they sold it and want me to pay the difference. I have no job and XXXX kids. I have no extra money to pay the difference is XXXX dollars. Unfortunately I just don't have that kind of money. They sent me a paper saying I'm going to be taken to court but no court date has been set and I am trying to get a home for me an my children and this is really hurting my credit. The place contacting me is credit acceptance corporations. I've tried sending proof of the signatures not matching. That I was at work during this time. I don't know what else to do.
