Consumer Narrative
I received alerts notification XXXX XXXX that I had a new inquiry on my account. I immediately called Capital One to dispute the inquiry. Capital One told me to take it up with the credit bureaus. I told Capital One that it was there company that filled the inquiry and therefore they needed to remove it. Then on XXXX XXXX another inquiry popped up. I followed the above steps. After filing disputes, freezing my credit reports, and requesting fraud alerts, I even emailed the CEO of Capital One about the matter. I am in the credit repair stage and I have not been trying to get any tupe of credit cards. This is a fraudulent inquiry.
