After reviewing my credit report I found an entry on the report from a debt collector which goes by the name of DIVERSIFIED ADJ SVCXXXX. Their address is listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX Their phone number is listed as XXXX. The original creditor is from XXXX. I would also like this same complaint to be sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Their address is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX company is also listed on my credit report. There phone number is XXXX The original creditor is XXXXXXXX XXXX I was informed by a man from XXXX XXXX, which is a company that assists consumers correct inaccurate information off of their report, that a DEBT COLLECTOR can not collect this debt. He actually informed me that this practice of trying to collect this debt in their name is against the law, UNLAWFUL. I would like a response from this company justifying by law and preferably through the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT. How their actions are justified. I am also demanding that it be removed from my credit report. I would also like to know who and the Credit Reporting Agencies allows this information on the reports and how it gets added to consumers reports. Who grants the authorizations to be placed on consumers reports.
