In 2019, I refinanced to reduce my interest rate. I was matched with UWM ( United Wholesale Mortgage ). Within the first 2 months, i tried to setup by monthly payments to try to pay off the mortgage quicker. I was told that i need to make 2 months payments in order to begin the by monthly payments. After i made 2 months payments, i was told the money was applied towards the principle. I was told to make another 2 months of payments. After 2 weeks i called and was told the exact same thing. Within 2 months, i made 6 months worth of payments. Then COVID hit. I lost my Dad and then i lost my job. Because i had made 6 months worth of mortgage payments ( over {$25000.00} ) within 2 months, i had depleted my savings and was not able to make my mortgage payments. i applied for forbearance and was given. I am currently applying for the XXXX XXXXXXXX. The state is requesting information from the mortgage company and they are refusing to send the information. This has delayed my application for over 3 months and will cause me to lose my home to foreclosure. I also found out that the mortgage company that i thought owned my loan UWM is not the owner of my mortgage. The mortgage is owned by XXXX which owns UWM.
