Consumer Narrative
On around XXXX-22 through XXXX-22 I closed on a home loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The closing was done at a XXXX XXXX restaurant with a notary that handled the paperwork and documentation. I gave a certified check in the amount of {$1600.00} at the time of closing, and had given {$500.00} in the month prior as good faith monies. After the closing I received absolutely no documentation showing that I am the owner/ resident of the property and that I am on the paperwork for the loan. I called and spoke with representatives on numerous occasions to try to voice my concern and receive the documents, but they are very unhelpful/ unconcerned with the matter. There is also no documentation on thier website. I feel that I am the victim of fraud here somehow. I wish to see all of the proof and evidence in writing of the Notary that handled the closing, and how the funds were used to cover what costs, because the amounts that were applied to specific areas were not what was discussed prior to the closing. The home price was {$25000.00} and of the {$2100.00} that was paid, they have made it to where nothing went toward the balance of the home and the monies have vanished. Now the original loan number has changed and doesn't reflect what is represented on my Homeowner 's insurance docs. When I check the payment section of thier website, the amounts differ from my records, and the method of payment isn't the same in certain months either. I have checked my credit report via XXXX and it states there that maybe 2 loans are in effect. One area states first mortgage for a duration of 360 months in the amount of {$100.00} and yes with a refinance indicator. This was NOT initiated by me! Then there is the original or second mortgage with 300 months and it states 300 months and a payment of {$3000.00} per month. Also Via XXXX the payment months have {$0.00} paid in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, with double payments/ or {$620.00} paid in others- XXXX. I received a payoff letter in XXXX of 2022- someone else may have taken over- assumed a role on the account.
