About a month ago I got a text message from TrueAccord " A debt collector ''. It stated that my " account '' had been placed with them. This text started showing up at least once a day. I replied back to please " stop '' as I had no clue what account it was pointing to and it was basically an autogenerated text that they had put me in on the list to recieve. I have never heard of them so this could be fishing or scamming as far as I am concerned. After asking replying for no more texts and the reason I am filing this complaint is this... XXXX morning my wife, son, his new family and our XXXX XXXX XXXX grand daughter were sharing breakfast and preparing to watch our baby open her gifts. As we gathered my phone went off and I figured it was my XXXX, XXXX, or one of my XXXX. It wasn't, it was TrueAccord " A debt collector ''. I never asked to recieve text messages, I asked for them to be stopped, and yet my special moment was interrupted by them. Now, I am not so concerned about myself as I have more than enough to be grateful for, but for someone who is having troubles in life around the holidays, to be contacted by " A debt collector '' is just wrong and rubbing things in someones face regardless of their monetary situation. Please warn these XXXX or something. No one deserves that level of disrespect.
