Consumer Narrative
Months ago I reviewed my credit file and noticed XXXX XXXX XXXX that I did not recognize. I tried reaching out and validating the debt directly with Wakefield & Associates, since I do not recognize these alleged debts. I have never received any initial communication from Wakefield and Associates, they also failed to respond to my debt validation. They also are charging interest % on the alleged amount, since every month I see the balance go up on my credit report. I was not sure that was legal practices.
