A unit was leased from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. after XX/XX/XXXX, it changed to a month to month lease. We turned in notice to vacate and move out of the unit XX/XX/XXXX. Rent was paid in full through XX/XX/XXXX and I never received a move out statement or my deposit of XXXX back. We were being harassed and stalked the entire time we lived there and the landlord was contacted about the neighbor 's dog ( who the landlord stated to me that they were not aware of but nothing was done about the attack dog ) as well as someone coming onto the patio and tearing apart items on the patio that I had purchased. someone also left a dead animal in our garbage can. attempts by someone to enter the unit while we were there was made by someone ; as the ring alarm would sound off in the middle of the night while my kids and I were asleep upstairs. I gave notice to vacate! XX/XX/XXXX, I have received an alert that a collection for {$500.00} was placed on my equifax credit report by a debt collection agency that is acting on behalf of XXXX XXXX property XXXX. We have tried contacting great plains and we get no answer. I was unable to turn on the keys directly to a person when moving out because they are rarely in the office so I put the date of return and placed all the keys in their drop box upon move out. since we moved out, we have not heard from XXXX XXXX and now they are trying to use a collection agency to collect money that we do not owe them. They should be returning my deposit of {$1000.00}.
