I had a mortgage with XXXX XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. During that time frame I never missed a payment with that company. That is over a 8 year history of on time payments. I refinanced that mortgage with a Different lender at the end of XX/XX/XXXX which was XXXX XXXX During the refinance process I will was told by a representative of XXXX XXXX named XXXX that I would be granted a 30 day grace period to allow time for the loan to close and that payment would be added to the back end of my loan. Unfortunately that did not happen because of an error on XXXX XXXX behalf and my account ended up being reported 30. Days late right before my new loan with rocket mortgage closed. This has negatively impacted my credit history and has prevented me from obtaining the best interest rate to purchase a new single family home. I was a loyal customer to that company and I need them to do the right thing and remove this late payment from My account based on my previous payment history and the incorrect information that I was given by customer service rep name XXXX in the first place.
