I was laid off from my job so I called XXXX to tell them I'd be late paying. They supposedly marked it down. About 60 days later, I don't think it was even that long, I got a letter from XXXX a debt collector. I paid that day. It was only {$60.00}. They actually sent it to the credit agencies. It's been 4,5 yrs now and it's crippled my life in many ways. My XXXX would be XXXX, it's about XXXX because of this inaccurate information. I've called XXXX several times, disputed this with all XXXX bureaus and also hired XXXX XXXXthey we're totally useless. It says XXXX balance but it has a delinquency on my reports. I've tried everything ... How can 1 company have all this power over someone's life?? It's a utility in case I didn't mention that.
