On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX submitted a collection account to XXXX, XXXX, and Experian in the amount of {$780.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I agreed to settle this balance with XXXX XXXX for an amount less than owed, and submitted payment. As such, on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a " Release of Debt '' notice from XXXX 's collection agency, and each of the credit repositories began reporting the account as " legally paid for less than the amount owed '' and/or " paid after collection. '' Sometime in XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX updated this reporting to " paid after charge off, '' which is incorrect. In an effort to resolve the matter, I contacted XXXX XXXX, paid the remaining balance, and obtained a letter from the creditor confirming that the account was paid after collection. In addition, I submitted three dispute claims with XXXX, along with supporting documentation from XXXX confirming the account 's status. However, the trade line has not yet been corrected. Although my credit scores for each of the repositories are XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, respectively, I have been denied credit since XX/XX/XXXX, from creditors that have previously granted me credit. Upon receipt of each of the Adverse Action Notices, the sole reason for denial has been the " paid after charge off '' reported account.
