On XX/XX/XXXX I called in to make a payment on my mortgage though Equity Prime Mortgage ( EPM ) because there was a problem with my automatic withdrawal. I asked if a late fee would be assessed and I was assured there would not be XXXX assessed ( this can be verified by the recorded call that XXXX has on file ( XX/XX/2022 ). On XX/XX/XXXX, my loan was sold to XXXX XXXX. However, a late fee ( {$89.00} ) was assessed by XXXX and never removed. Now XXXX wants me to go through several different steps to get it removed since they do not service the loan anymore. I have spent several hours of my personal time dealing with this and I don't think I should have to. XXXX decided to sell my loan, they should honor their commitment from the call on XX/XX/2022.
