In XX/XX/2021 we purchased a home that was on an XXXX auction in XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. After receiving the title, Wells Fargo filed a XXXX XXXX against us and the previous owner who still owed on their property. We knew this could happen and were willing to pay the bank for the house, even though the debt was not ours. We thought that since they had abandoned it for over XXXX years, they would negotiate a good price. The outstanding balance at the time was {$260000.00} and we hired an attorney to help us settle the matter. We made multiple offers all well over XXXX and XXXX. All were turned down. I have reached out directly to Wells Fargo Leadership and no one responds or helps us come to a agreement. The judgement is now up to {$380000.00}, over XXXX in exorbitant fees have been added, not to mention the {$12000.00} our family has spent on legal fees to try and resolve this matter, to date. They insist on the foreclosure, although we have offered up to XXXX XXXX of the judgment, none of which is our debt and much of which is Wells Fargo fees. We have XXXX chidden that enjoy the schools here. We have been so stressed for almost XXXX years not knowing when we will be XXXX, by no fault of our own. We have invested tens of thousands to make this home that was abandoned to over XXXX years, livable. We just want to keep our home and pay Wells Fargo for the others families debt and we have not been able to do so. Please provide any direction possible. Our family sincerely appreciates your time and help.
