I have been trying to purchase a home since XX/XX/2021. My lender along with other banks have not been able to obtain my credit report from equifax. There is no block or freeze. Equifax will not provide my score or file to any lender. I have called equifax 5 times over the last 12 months. When I do finally speak to them they tell me I need to verify my identity by sending in a copy of my DL and Social Security card. The representatives at equifax have all told me that a block was out on my credit file by equifax, not me.I have done this 5 times. Once they get the documentation from me they then send me a letter saying my dispute has been resolved. They have done nothing. I recently tried to refinance my vehicle with my credit union. I was denied by them and they sent me a letter stating the reason why is because I do not have a credit file with equifax. No one at equifax seems to understand how to fix my issue. I just need help getting equifax to release my credit file and score.
