There has been an ongoing issue with a bill that was not properly investigated. Experian did not put the time into validating the bill itself that XXXX is trying to collect. The bill comes from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX parent company ( XXXX XXXX ) which seems to have a disconnect from the complex itself. I was told onsite that I was paid in full and good to go as the email screenshot attached shows. They were very thorough that I would not owe any additional charges. The lease end date is shown in the 60 day notice attached ending XX/XX/XXXX. The parent company and XXXX did not provide an explanation the bill, but later found out they are attempting to charge me through XX/XX/XXXX a week after my end date as a " standard preparation week '' for the next tenant. This apartment was rented long before my updated lease end and there is nothing written anywhere showing that I have to pay rent an additional week after the end of my lease. I explained this to Experian, but they didn't take the time to look into it and are just assuming the bill itself is proof when that is where the error is. I also have a complaint open about XXXX as they do not have any explaination of what they are trying to collect. Experian said they would call me if there were any issues but denied my dispute without proper evaluation. I've never missed a bill in my life and had a credit score of over XXXX and is not destroyed by a bill that was invalid from the beginning. The parent company is completely unreasonable and has no knowledge of the apartment process onsite. I also asked them to provide me something showing why I owe an extra week of rent after my last day and no one has provided anything other than the same original erroneous bill. There was also absolutely no damage to the apartment. The manager and assistant manager no longer work at the apartment complex.
