I do not know where to turn. I had a mechanic destroy my vehicle after I paid for him to repair my car. Not only did he do more mechanical damage but he did alot of exterior damage as well. Since I have a loan on this vehicle I have to keep full coverage insurance on my car. My car insurance is refusing to pay the total loss claim because I do not have exact date the damage occurred. This is a total cop out. I have proof of not only the conversation with the shop owner admitting his mechanic cut up my wiring harness and misplaced parts and bolts but I have pictures of when the vehicle was first dropped off as well as the shop owner posing in front of my car for a XXXX XXXX for the XXXX of XXXX XXXX I still owe on the car and I can't pay for a total loss on a car. This is over a {$15000.00} loss and I have been just diagnosed with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I do not have a dependable vehicle now because mine was destroyed. This will ruin me financially and I can't seem to find anyone that will help me. I can provide you with all my documentation if needed. I did everything I was supposed to but will be the only one that takes this financial loss. It is amazing you HAVE to have full coverage insurance in order to have a car loan but they can just destroy a person and deny the claim over some bs reason. Please help. My insurance is XXXX. This is especially hard since I was rebuilding my credit and almost had to vehicle paid for.
