In XX/XX/2016, I traded my XXXX for a new vehicle. The account was in good standing and completely paid off. The account has shown closed and paid in full as of XX/XX/2016 on all three credit reports since then. A few months ago, my Equifax monitoring alerted me for delinquent reporting. When I looked, it was the XXXX XXXX reporting a 30-day lay for XX/XX/2016. I have tried to get this corrected several times already to no avail. At this point, I am ready to escalate if needed. This is starting to create issues and question my creditworthiness and integrity. I have been denied for business credit, and personal credit limits decreased significantly siting delinquency. I was never late with this account, and I find it ridiculous that this randomly appeared on my credit report 6 YEARS AFTER THE ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED.
