I have discussed the situation where I am trying to pay extra to apply to the principal each month. I was told by more than one person that my payments where to be applied to the principal but have only been applied to interest. The auto payments do not allow extra payments also. It seems purposeful to me and after had experienced several phone calls including one where they submitted the payment I do not think this situation will be resolved. It seems like a scam to me to get me to pay more on my mortgage.
