I was finally able to get a mortgage established after having to involve the corporate office and filing complaints and accusing them of violations of the Fair Housing Act. However, the mortgage originator continues to send me messages even after I've asked several times to him, his XXXX, and the corporate office to remove me from all contacts unless mandated by regulation and specific to my account. It started when the XXXX XXXX asked for proof of funds from my mother who was gifting {$9000.00}. She provided all the documentation that was necessary based off FHA Guidelines and initial request. She provided a {$10000.00} Letter that was provided by her retirement account. She provided a copy of the deposit and withdraw of the {$9000.00}. She then provided a copy of the check. I had to provide several months worth of bank statements that had to not only show my name, address, account number and all transactions with explainations for each transaction, they had to be signed by a branch employee. This was requested several times in a single month. He then went further demanding full 30 day statements showing the name, address, account number, and Financial Institution name of my mother 's accounts stating it was necessary for FHA. He spoke with my mother over the phone because he said he was going to provide the reasons he needed the information. Instead of any explaination he told her that her that she WILL provide anything he asks for or he will cancel the entire deal. My mother, who worked for an attorney asked her boss about it who said he has no reason to request it and no reason to need it and only to provide it if XXXX XXXX could provide legal justification on company letterhead. He continued to argue that he needed the information. I filed a complaint with the corporate office and shortly after recieved a call from XXXX that he'd put the information through to the underwriter that we've provided so far and let them decide if more information was needed. The underwriter approved everything and said nothing further was needed. At this point, we had provided all the information about our accounts and the property being financed. I asked several times if there was anything else needed and was told that we were all set About XXXX weeks before the closing date, after all the inspections were all paid for and completed and the legal work was all done ( besides the actual signing of the closing ), he suddenly said that he needed a picture of the serial number on the frame. We took a picture and sent it to him. He claimed it was illegible and needed another one. Severalntimes we cleaned the serial number and sent pictures over and he continued to claim he couldn't read it. Again, I reached out to the corporate office for assistance and filed a complaint. Shortly after the complaint he said he could make out the serial number and nothing further was needed. I filed a final complaint with Wells Fargo about all the trouble we had experienced and asked that his conduct be investigated. I provided a number of emails that he had sent and was told there was communication I had sent that he never registered into the system in violation of company policy. Shortly after I received a generic letter that said the matter is being addressed internally. We finally closed in XXXX XXXX XXXX. He started sending emails and letters to me that had nothing to do with my account and were not required by regulation. I asked him to stop sending me anything and to remove me from all mailing and marketing lists unless required by regulations. I've gone further and asked his XXXX, and corporate office. I continue to recieve letters and emails from him. On XX/XX/2022 ; I sent an email to XXXX Attorney General and the NY XXXX Police asking that a police report for harassment be filed against Wells Fargo and XXXX XXXX. There is no reason for him to continue to contact me any further yet he continues to do so in violation of NY XXXX and XXXX laws.
