On XX/XX/2022 I went open to reviewing an apartment that I liked. As I walked in I felt something was off, the energy and customer service was a little rude. I felt uncomfortable and did not know how this tour would play out. So I took the tour and look around the apartment complex. I decided to give it some thought and told the agent I will be in touch if I decide to move forward. Well a week past by and I put in a application in, a week goes by, I hear nothing. No phone call, no email on my status of where I am at in the application process. So I decided to call and figure out whats going on. Well as soon as I called they informed me I was approved. Which was fishy, and odd from the first place. I had to call multiple times, and tried to get more I formation since the beginning. I felt discriminated and unwelcomed. So I spoke to the XXXX about the situation, nor did she help me, I decided to take my business somewhere else. I never got the keys to the apartment or anything. I was charged for a collection fee of an application fee and admin fee which I paid up front after the application process went thru- I had to call and find out if I was approved or not- I hereby the collection is false Information and provin to the fair cares act, they went behind my will to collect a debt that is misleading, false information, and fraud. I need to file a complaint for this action to take this off my credit report.
