I pled to have the XXXX days late payment status on both loans removed from my credit report. I was under the impression that the loans were still in deferment. I received a credit alert in XX/XX/XXXX that the loans were XXXX days past due. I was unaware that the loans had entered the re-payment. In XX/XX/XXXX the federal government entered student loan repay pause due to the Covid crisis. After several extensions the pause is extended to XX/XX/XXXX. I feel that the XXXX days late status is in error. It has made a very negative impact on my credit which is preventing me from closing my house. I have worked hard over the past few months trying to improve my credit score. This negative impact on my credit score, has caused me stress and anxiety. The housing market is unfair for minorities, and Im requesting removal immediately. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to reach out to an attorney to help get it rectified. Ive made several attempts to get Navient to resolve this matter. I was told theres nothing they can do.
