Experian requested via email I update my method of payment and listed a XXXX card 's last four number which I didn't recognize. I called into customer service to verify tls certificate info to verify sender. After finally making it through their automated phone service I escalated the call, due to being afraid of fraudulent activity, regarding my method of payment being incorrect. At this point I requested to remove my method of payment and to change my account status to basic ( free ). Today I received the same email stating they were trying to charge me for a basic account on the same unknown credit card number. I called in and had account deactivated because I know longer have faith in Experian 's service. This was successful, however I was told in order to remove my personal information I would have to physically mail sensitive information to their Texas address. I am not willing to do so. Please help my remove my information from Experian 's databases because I no longer felt confident in their ability to manage sensitive information.
