On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I submitted dispute letters to Experian indicating that information reported by US BANKRUPTCY XXXX, XXXX NEW JERSEY Account # XXXX was not valid or accurate. I also included in this letter that " THIS ACCOUNT DOES NOT BELONG TO ME ''. Attached to these letters I included a letter from XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX ( who Experian uses to obtain information ), stating that XXXX has deleted the XXXX BANKRUPTCY INFORMATION FROM MY FILE BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO. VERIFY THE INFORMATION. I also attached a letter from the XXXX BANKRUPTCY XXXX, XXXX NEW JERSEY stating the court DOES NOT provide or report to credit bureaus. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a reply from Experian stating that they have verified the information to be accurate and would not delete the information from my report. I also spoke to Experian on the phone several time and was told that they verified information with the XXXX BANKRUPTCY XXXX and XXXX. How is this possible when I attached a letter from the XXXX BANKRUPTCY COURT stating they do not report to credit bureaus and Also That I attached a letter from XXXX stating they deleted the information from my file last year. Even with this proof of these letters Experian refused to comply with the law and is violating my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section XXXX ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( A ). I am attaching a copy of my credit report showing how egregious these violations are. The continued reporting of this invalid and negative information on my Experian credit report is negatively impacting my credit score and interfering with my ability to obtain financing. IF THEY REFUSE TO DELETE THE INFORMATION I WILL FILE A LAWSUIT SEEKING DAMAGES IN COURT.
