In XXXX, Huntington Bank put force-place insurance on my home mortgage despite my insurance agent sending them proof-of-insurance two times. I was able to provide proof-of-insurance in XXXX, and the force-placed policy was removed. The escrow account was then adjusted to remove any charges of the force-placed policy. There was XXXX dollars owed for the cancelled insurance, and no net change to my escrow amount as a result. Despite this fact, Huntington Bank still charged me for the cancelled policy, and then reported me as late to the credit bureau despite me paying on time. This has happened to me multiple times with this company.
