An individual impersonating an individual on a dating app got access to my virtual wallet ID and authorized the wire transfer of more than {$17000.00} dollars to an online virtual wallet that was cloaked and portrayed to be a DeFi wallet but was not. Coinbase has said they can not do anything about it. I would think any account that is reported to have done this should be able to be frozen at the very least. This guy tried to extract {$1000.00} from my coinbase after I wired the funds to my bank and Coinbase responded by telling me I owed the money back!!! I know banks have the ability to recall funds and this has to be an oversight on their part.
