Attached you will find a copy of my XXXX credit report dated XX/XX/XXXX which clearly shows the inaccurate reporting of my account with Bridgecrest. The account is till reporting on XXXX as open with a {$27000.00} balance and a monthly payment of {$590.00}. This inaccurate account reporting is a violation of the FCRA as the account was paid off on XX/XX/XXXX, the account is closed, no balance owed and no monthly payment. I have disputed this account directly with XXXX and XXXX. I have filed a complaint with the CFPB for Bridgecrest, XXXX and XXXX. Nothing seems to be working to correct the inaccurate reporting of the account. This error has cost me dearly as it appears to anyone who views my personal credit reports that I have multiple auto loans open and my debt to income is way too high. This major error showing a monthly payment of {$590.00} directly caused me to be denied a credit limit increase and denied a personal loan due to the amount of FALSE debt that the Bridgcrest tradeline is showing on my credit reports. Bridgrecrest responded to the CFPB on XX/XX/XXXX and stated they did nothing wrong and there reporting is accurate. Direct quote from Bridgecrest response to the CFPB XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, we have received four indirect disputes filed by XXXX XXXX XXXX the CRAs, which alleged the account was being inaccurately reported. We confirmed the accuracy of the last report filed with the CRAs and confirmed that we were accurately reporting the tradeline. We responded as such to each of the corresponding CRAs in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I would like to point out that every time Bridgecrest responded to the CRAs for my direct disputes with the CRAs past the date they received the full payoff balance with false and misleading information, they violated the FCRA. Bridgecrest received the entire loan payoff by wire transfer on XX/XX/XXXX. Bridgecrest can say they reported accurately all they want but the evidence proves otherwise. I am stating once again The loan was paid off on XX/XX/XXXX. Bridgecrest is not reporting the tradeline accurately to the CRAs even though they say they are. This is a clear violation of the FCRA. According to the CRAs they are reporting the account as Bridgecrest instructed them to. The CRAs are taking Bridgecest at their word even though I have submitted proof of the loan being paid off. Bridgcrest stated in the response to the CFPB that they mailed be a refund check on XX/XX/XXXX which was a lie as it was post marked long after that date and was not received until XX/XX/XXXX. Bidgecrest called me on XX/XX/XXXX and said they did nothing wrong and did not even offer an apology for their inaccurate reporting. When I asked the woman where the apology for the error is she replied Apologize for what, there is nothing to apologize for I found her response very unprofessional. Another direct quote from the Bridgecrest response to the CFPB In addition, we verified that we accurately reported XXXX XXXX account balance as {$26000.00}, during our furnishing of XXXX month-end tradeline reporting. This statement is obviously false as the tradeline is still reporting on XXXX with a balance of {$27000.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. Please see the attached XXXX report. Bridgecrest did not even respond to my first complaint with the CFPB so I had to file another complaint about 17 days later. Bridgecrest finally responded after my 2nd complaint.
