In XXXX of XXXX I was notified by my bank that there was a debit going to Uplift Inc. which has overdrafted my account and was I aware of it. I was provided with a telephone number for the charge. I contacted the number provided and was entered into an automated call system of which I did not have the information required to be verified and continue to a representative. I tried 11 times in the next two days and finally reached a representative who I explained the situation to and requested to report the fraud. I was advised that the account had been noted and it would take 90 days to complete the process. Uplift Inc. charged my bank account another two months following before the bank closed the account due to the fraudulent charges and overdraft fees. Uplift has continued to illegally report this account on my XXXX Credit Report for the past year.
