XX/XX/2022 - I phoned Midland Credit Management , Inc to change the debit card information in their system. A payment plan had been set up to resolve this very old debt. The company employees became very uncooperative when I told them that I need to change the debit card number on the payment arrangement. The arrangement was {$50.00} per month for 3 months and {$100.00} every month after until paid off. The company told me that because I had filed a complaint with CFPB and they had until XX/XX/2022 to respond that they will not resolve the payment plan to change the debit card number in the arrangement. They told me the only way they would cooperate is if I withdrew my complaint. I said that I would not because I am looking for affordable payments for debt resolution.
