I contacted the company on XXXX and explained that I could not continue with payments. The representative I spoke with gave me two options. She stated that I could pay off a settlement which is thousands of dollars I do not have ( because I am going through financial difficulties ) or they could cancel my automatic payments which if not paid by the due date would show as delinquent and report to the credit bureaus. I asked the representative for a supervisor and he repeated the same thing. The company is preying on those in bad financial situations. They either want to to come up with thousands of dollars to pay off a settlement in 30 days or have your credit harmed due to not being able to pay.
