Back around XX/XX/2021 - XX/XX/2021 Oportun opened an account / Credit card fraudulently. I did not authorize this account to be opened, and I did not receive any credit cards from this company. I advised the company several times now, I did not open this account and I did not authorize this account. I did not authorize any applications. I did not sign any applications, I did not receive a card, and I have not received any monetary transactions from said account 's. Every month Oportun continues to report this card on my credit file. Oportun admitted to opening the account without clearing my extended fraud victim statement on my credit file. I do not own the phone number XXXX. Which they stated was used to open the account. The phone number has been shut down due to identity theft. I have not made payment 's on this account. I have not received a single card for this account, and Oportun can not provide proof I signed any applications for the account. I did not sign anything, and I do not owe a debt that was opened from a thief / identity fraudster. Oportun was provided with an FTC Identity Theft Affidavit they chose to ignore. This account is not authorized, and I do not owe the debt on this account. Oportun has no proof tying me to this account, and Oportun never contacted me about this account. According to my credit file this was opened on XX/XX/2021 by a fraudster. Oportun did not verify the account, and did not send me a card.
