When covid hit and options to be put in a forbearance program became available we accepted and were told that all the payments would just be added on to the back end of the mortgage and we would start making regular payments once the program was over. They allowed us to be in the program for over a year and then when it was over they demanded all that money up front and would not modify the loan or anything. Then they filed for foreclosure. We have hired an attorney to represent us because they lied to us and all the phone calls we made confirming this process were recorded so there is solid proof of their lies. They also failed to send us paperwork on time causing us to mis deadlines etc. Cardinal FINANCIAL is the company that held the mortgage
