I maintain an account with Capital One which is a credit card account. This card earns rewards and I have have approximately {$300.00} in rewards fairly earned under the Card 's Terms and Conditions. Approximately XXXX weeks ago I received a notification that the card had been cancelled and the rewards had been taken from me by Capital One. Although Capital One via " XXXX id XXXX '' states I was provided notice of these potential cancellation, I did not receive any notification of the pending cancellation and forfiture of the rewards points. XXXX further mentioned that I supposedly had received a letter but she had no proof of that and when I requested the Terms and Conditions she stated that she had " Technical Issues '' prevented her from accessing any options to retrieve these and unless I held on indefinately she would not provide this information. It appears that without warning or justification Capital One took the opportunity to confiscate fairly earned rewards. Furthermore they can not document that they wrote or communicated with me their intention when it could have been remedied and lastly they can not communicate me a process or any other means to validate their notification or other requirements to forfeit rewards while the card was in good standing. I have spoken to XXXX and others at Capital One and they tell me their decision is irreverrsible and the points forfeited.
