In XXXX of 2022 ( call recorded ), I contacted Conns Inc. to inquire about how they were reporting information on my credit report. Specifically, I asked Conns if they would report the alleged debt they said I owed a collections agency if a payment was not made, and the collections agency said that they would. After speaking to an attorney, he advised that because this account was included in bankruptcy they violated the injunction placed on the debt at the time of bankruptcy, and therefore violated federal law. He encouraged me to submit a CFPB complaint and is ready to take further action in the event that the demands made in this complaint are not satisfied.
