I was looking for Rims for my car, I went into XXXX XXXX XXXX, which is situated at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX NY XXXX. The owner did not have the type of Rims that I was looking for. He then showed me a XXXX from the internet and said that I don't need to pay out of my pocket, that I could be financed by Koalifi ( The name of the financed company ) and it will only take few minutes to get the outcome. He then requested for my driver 's license and my bank card and insisted that it will only take less than 10 minutes. He then told me that I got approved for the sum of {$3000.00} and they took an initial payment of {$48.00}, I then requested to see the Rims, he told me I have to go to his other store to fetch the Rims, all the way in XXXX, which was an hour plus drive away, I asked him why I was not informed that the merchandise is not in his premise, his response was that I shouldn't be worried that I will get there in no time. I drove all the way to XXXX for the Rims, when I arrived at the said premise, I showed them the slip that was given to me, they then loaded 4 boxes into my trunk, and referred me somewhere else to fit the Rims. After they were done fitting the Rims it was totally off color, it did not fit the color of my car, I called both phone numbers that was giving to me, he never picked up. I drove all the way back to his store, only to find out that he was closed. I went back home with the merchandise still in my trunk and I came back the following morning, I waited for almost 4 hours before his assistant came to open his store. Apparently, it was the same person that assisted me yesterday at the other store, i told him the reason why I came back, who then called the owner, I then explained my predicament to him, that the color doesn't match my car, who then stated that if he decides to take the rims back, that I need to add an additional {$1800.00}, which I found ridiculous. I left the whole merchandise in his store and told him that I am willing to work out something with him whenever his ready, then I left. I called Koalifi also known as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to Close the account, they took some amount from my account in order for them to proceed with the closure of the account. It has been a nightmare since then, I received calls from Koalifi that the owner of XXXX states that the sale is final, and I was instructed to go fetch the merchandise, then I should call them. I did what I was told to do, and it almost a month been told the same story that the matter is under investigation. Initially they said I could not be charged at the present moment because it is showing XXXX amount that is owed to them. However, without any notice I saw on my credit report that I am suddenly owing {$1000.00}, and that I have skipped payment for 24 to 45 days, it is so unprofessional of them, i never told them that I wasn't going to pay. I tried making payment several times they refused, and insisted on getting the merchandise first, every time I call to make payment, they put me on hold till they drop the call. I have accepted the merchandise, and every time I try making payment, the operators says that the matter is still under investigation for over a month, yet they had the audacity to add it to my credit score that I am owing them money. Everyone should be aware of such financial company claiming to assist you in financing anything.
