I have been trying to close my PayPal account for several months. When I first encountered this problem, I called PayPal, sat on hold for a long time, and then I was told that I didn't have an active credit card associated with my account. So, I updated the card information. After that, I tried to cancel again. The first step in this process is clearing your account of any money that may be in it. I chose the check in the mail option. That didn't work -- I got an error message. I called PayPal, sat on another long hold, and once I spoke to their outsourced tech support, I was told that I would be transferred to the legal compliance department. Another long hold ensued. And, truth be told, I hung up. I couldn't help thinking that PayPal was trying to blow me off. Well, this morning, I made another attempt to clear my account of any money that may be in it. Again, I chose the check in the mail option. Got the same error message that popped up during my two previous attempts. I took a screenshot and am sharing it with this message. Now, I'm not asking PayPal to send a huge amount of money. That isn't the point. The point is that I'm trying to get the {$11.00} that is rightfully mine out of PayPal. Can you help me do this?
