I have a credit card with BlockFi, which issues rewards via XXXX XXXX Since using the card, I've accumulated XXXX XXXX or ~ {$640.00} in rewards. Per the terms, these rewards become my asset/ I have individual ownership once issued. The problem is, BlockFi recently stopped all withdrawals and has now filed XXXX XXXX -- I can not collect my rewards. They say this meets their terms, but if I own the rewarded XXXX, aren't they breaking those terms by refusing to relinquish my asset? Since they won't let me withdraw my rewards and I believe are breaking the agreed terms, what protection do I have? I owe {$5700.00} on the card and have removed automatic payment. Can I legally stop payments without penalty while disputing this issue? If I do need to continue making payments, can I leave the equivalent reward balance unpaid on the credit card without penalty? What protections do I have here?
