i applied for an American Express Card on the American Express website on XX/XX/2022 XXXX XXXX XXXX AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD and XX/XX/2022 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ref : XXXX. American Express refused to process both applications and did not approve or deny either application. Amex also did not send me the required notices by U.S. mail. I also do not believe that Amex is properly adhering to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. I am confident that if i applied again for an Amex card, my application would not be processed. The actions of American Express damaged my credit by generating 2 hard credit inquiries, despite there being zero chance that my application would be processed.
